Week #3-Circuit Drills/Track

Week # 3 brought the first week of Coach Al's infamous circuit drills, which entail push ups, sit ups....1/4 mile around the track and repeat 4 times. My arms and quads were sore the following day because I have been lax on this type of work out. Having strong quads really helps on the long runs. Also, did my Tuesday night buddy run at Lake Merritt with about 10 other people- had a lot of fun because it was my first Tuesday night run since last October.

Claudia and Rocky mentioned that there is going to be a marathon in New Oreleans during Mardi Gras-may do it, even though it would require me to run in the winter, which is not my forte.
